Through this programme we want to provide the universities with a tool which allows an external assessment of the new proposals/projects of new proper degrees. This tool, together with other criteria, would allow assuring an offer of quality of this kind of teaching from its planning and authorization.
This programme allows carrying out an external assessment of the proposals/projects of new degrees, made by expert assessors through six aspects which are subdivided in sub aspects and criteria. These assessors want to analyze the institutional and social context where the degree is being developed as well as the characteristics which must be defined at the moment of applying (formative programme, teaching organization, human resources, material resources and services). There is also another aspect that analyses the quality management system foreseen for the constant process of development and improvement of the degree.
Universities will decide which proposals/projects of new proper degrees will be assessed.
