Programme for assessment, improvement and certification of proper degrees (TP2)
Through this programme we pretend to promote the evaluation, improvement and certification of those degrees which have at least finished one edition and which are current when we apply for them.
We will apply for this programme in a voluntary way, and it will allow the evaluation, throughout equitable criteria and methodology, of the reality of the proper degree. The programme, which is directed to the attendance and semi attendance courses and the virtual ones, has as a main objective the certification of those degrees which achieve the established standards of quality.
The process is supported by the analysis of nine aspects: the first two aspects analyze the institutional and social context where the degree is being developed, the four following aspects deal with the questions to be defined at the moment of its authorization (formative programme, management of teaching, human and material resources), after this we have the aspects related to the formative process and the results of the programme. The model finishes with an aspect that deals with the analysis of the system of assurance, which has been designed by the degree in order to have a constant process of improvement. We have also foreseen an evaluation of the dimension satisfaction of the users and those involved in the proper degree.
During this first year, the evaluation process has three essential stages: self-evaluation, which is carried out by the self evaluation committee created by the degree, external evaluation, carried out by an external evaluation committee which has been appointed by ACECAU, and finally there is a process of deliberation and monitoring which concludes with proposals of certification or with the possibility of elaborating a planning for the improvement of the degree.
