IV ACECAU´s conference: Center and quality to debate

Canarian Agency for accreditation and quality assessment of the university system starts the 4 th conference as an initiative located in the activities the Agency develops and at the same time, it provides information about strategic topics for University´s future.

On 9 th May, it was celebrated the 4 th ACECAU´s conference named: "The Role of University Centers about Policies of Quality".

The way in which Universities must develop guarantee systems of quality, that allow to evalute the new degrees proposed and their improvement, and how centers should intriduce these systems letting the development of their own policies of quality, analyzing the results with the aim of modifying, adapting and improving their formative offer were reflected and discussed topics.

Topics such as: "What responsibilities must a center take on quality guarantee policy of quality?¿Which aspects do correspond to the center and which ones to the University? Collaboration between University and Center in order to increase a policy of quality. What kind of experiencies is introduced into the guarantee system of quality?".

These and other points were the debate target at ACECAU´s conference that took place at AC Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
