Setting-up of the University Research Institutes Assessment Coordination committee.

On November 6th of the current year a meeting was held at the Main University building in La Laguna, with the aim of setting-up the University Research Institutes Assessment Coordination committee and propose the work plan to be carried out.

The committee is therefore formed by:

• Vice-Rectorate of Research, Technological Development and Information
• Vice-Rectorate of Teaching Staff and Teaching QualityUniversity Institute of Canarian Public Health and Tropical Diseases
• Antonio Gonzalez Biochemistry University Institute
• Canarian Agency for  University Quality Assessment and Accreditation

The work plan was analyzed and the foreseen schedule was approved.

Finally, we would like to point out that the committee will meet when they consider it   necessary and a first meeting is set up for the month of February, in order to know the pace of the work.
