4th ACECAU´s conference: Center and Quality to debate

Canarian Agency for acreditation and quality assessment of the university system starts the 4th conference as an iniciative placed in the activities the agency develops and at the same time, it provides information about strategic topics for University´s future

On 9th May it was celebrated the 4th ACECAU´s conference named: "The Role of university Centers about Policies of Quality"

The way in which Universities must develop guarantee systems of quality, that allow to evaluate the new degrees proposed and their improvement, and how centers should introduce these systems letting the development of their own policies of quality, analyzing the results with the aim of modifying, adapting and improving their formative offer were reflected and discussed topics.

Topics such as: “What responsibilities must a center take on quality guarantee policy of quality? ¿Which aspects do correspond to the center and which ones to the University? Collaboration between University and center in order to increase a policy of quality. what kind of experiences is introduced into the guarantee system of quality?”

These and other points were the debate target at ACECAU´s conference that took place at AC Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
