Accreditation of Research Experience

Presentation

Fort the last months ACECAU has received many applications from research and teaching staff (PDI) from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the accreditation of their research experience. For this reason ACECAU, with the coordination of the university of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has developed a specific protocol to respond to this demand.
The main aim of this protocol is to certify the research experience of the PDI who does not have any of the requirements of the article4.1 of the regulations for the elaboration, defense and evaluation of Doctoral Thesis of the university of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The criteria which have been followed to design this protocol are the result of the analysis from protocols for the evaluation to get the accreditation through the figure of hired doctor type 1 and type 2; the protocol for the evaluation of those merits leading to the recognition of sections in the complement 2 of research merits and the basis which regulate the obtaining of six year research from the national committee for the assessment of the research action (CNEAI).
ACECAU keeps the application period for the accreditation of research experience for Canarian PDI open the whole year.

ACECAU established an electronic headquarters called “Virtual Office” to allow our users to process on-line,  Research Experience applications.

With this new electronic technology, one will be able to know instantly the process or stage of the application.

Application form
       1.     The application form has to be addressed to the director of ACECAU.
       2.     The application should be accompanied by:
  • An attested photocopy of the applicant’s identity card.
  • An original of the application form as well as the rest of documents can be handed in, however if a copy is handed in this one must be attested with the original document in any of the public registers foreseen in article 38.5 Law 30/1992 about the juridical regime of public administration and the common administrative procedures.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Documentation presented for the assessment must be in order and listed according to the cited merits  in the Research Experience Accreditation Memory

 

Instructions to fill in the application forms
In the different epigraphs which can be seen in the attached documents we can add as many rows as necessary. We have to press ALT INSERT to add a row and ALT SUPP to delete it.
 The documents have macros, so you have to enable “macros” in your text editor.
 If your computer hasn’t got macros enabled, you have to go to tools, macros, security, and you have to establish a level of security high, medium or low. Afterwards you will have to restart the computer
3. When and where to apply
  • The application form can be handed in throughout the whole year except for August.
